As a Director of our Salesforce practice at Cervello, I’m committed to continually building the depth and breadth of our Salesforce practice skills, capabilities and experience. At Dreamforce ’13, I’m really looking forward to the roadmap and technology deep dive sessions for mobile, marketing and service cloud. I am interested to hear about new technology investments in this area from both Salesforce and its partners. In some of the more focused industry discussions such as healthcare, I’m keen to learn more about how Salesforce customers that have dealt with regulations have been successful with social marketing, mobile, and Chatter. Having spent a few years in pharma myself, I know how challenging it can be to adopt new technologies while remaining compliant.
At Cervello, we know that implementing social media and Chatter specifically in certain industries comes with inherent risks. The financial services industry is no exception with regulatory and compliance requirements that are broad and complex. Recently we were tasked with implementing Chatter for a multi-national mutual fund and financial services company and the team looked at several options on how best to implement a solution while meeting the FINRA electronic communication requirements.
