For the 5th consecutive year, Cervello will be attending Dreamforce in San Francisco. This year, there will be many ways to connect with us. Whether you’d like to schedule a meeting on-site beforehand to discuss your Salesforce needs or attend one, or all 3 of our sessions, we welcome the opportunity to meet you!

Since the last Dreamforce, we’ve been delivering all kinds of innovative solutions for our clients, and we’re looking forward to sharing these projects and our expertise with you during our sessions. Be sure to join us as we divulge our tips and tricks for working with Salesforce as well as how we leverage technologies such as Apex and Heroku to innovate on the platform. Our sessions include the following:

Create a Global View of the Account using Apex
Tuesday, September 15, 1:30-2:00
Often in enterprise organizations the account structure is setup with a parent account and many subsidiaries. This structure can support a multitude of account managers that have access to different records within the hierarchy. Gaining visibility to a complete view of the account can be difficult with out of the box account hierarchies. In this session learn how to create a global view of the account using apex to roll-up child related list records such as Contacts and Opportunities to the parent account.

Utilize Heroku to Push Google Analytics Data into Analytics Cloud
Wednesday, September 16, 10:00-10:30
Have you ever thought about being able to look at Google Analytics data inside Salesforce? Using Heroku you can create a cloud based mini ETL tool to move data directly into Salesforce Analytics Cloud. Now you can have better visibility into the performance of your digital marketing assets in context with your account, contacts and activities in In this session, we will walk through a sample application built on Heroku that demonstrates how to integrate external APIs from both Google Analytics and Salesforce Analytics Cloud. We will demonstrate each architectural component and application code deployed via a Heroku button.

Loading Data into Wave with Apex
Thursday, September 17, 8:30-9:00
One of the core advantages of the Salesforce Analytics Cloud is the ability to process extremely large data sets without sacrificing performance. Building those data sets is not always easy. Vendor tools do a great job but can be expensive and, in some cases, organizations need complete control over their data transformations. In this session, we will explore the different native options available for loading data into the Analytics Cloud, and review the pros and cons of using Apex. We will demonstrate a simple data loader app built with the Analytics Cloud simple API.

It’s also worth mentioning, we will be distributing our annual Benioff themed t-shirt at these sessions. Be sure to work them into your schedule so that you leave the conference with some Cervello swag!
